The WIMBN Mentoring Program focuses on 'Making a Difference'
The Mentoring Program aims to provide support to women seeking to further develop themselves professionally and personally by providing resources and support to both mentors and mentees.
Benefits of a mentoring relationship can include:
- A feeling of making a difference and contributing to others
- Increased confidence and self esteem
- Personal growth and development
- Extended network
- Improved communication skills
How does the WIMBN mentoring program work?
After you have expressed your interest, you will be contacted for a phone interview. If you are registering as a Mentor, we will discuss your areas of expertise, business experience and time availabilty. If you are coming to the program as a Mentee, we will explore your goals and areas you wish to work on. WIMBN will then seek to do a match to connect a Mentor with a Mentee. WIMBN will provide useful tools and guidelines, however, each relationship will set out its own guidelines in regards to communication and the amount of time needed to acheive the outcomes.
The WIMBN Mentoring program is voluntary.
If becoming a Mentor or being mentored is a part of your personal or professional goals please contact Stephanie Kennar for more information on 1300 882 072 or at stephaniek@wimbn.com.au
In its essence, mentoring touches the heart, mind and spirit and brings the promise of new beginnings and altered tomorrows.
